Quality Manager

As a Quality Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of quality assurance and quality control within our organization. Your role is crucial in ensuring that our vessels meet the highest quality standards before they reach our customers. You maintain current quality management procedures, monitor production processes, and collaborate with various departments to uphold quality benchmarks and facilitate continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

1. Monitor Production Processes: Regularly inspect production processes to identify and resolve issues that may affect product quality.
2. Quality Assurance Testing: Design and implement testing protocols and procedures to ensure that products meet specifications and regulatory requirements.
3. Supplier Quality Management: Collaborate with suppliers to establish quality requirements and monitor their performance to ensure compliance.
4. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed records of quality reports, documentation, and audit findings. Prepare regular reports for management review.
5. Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of quality control inspectors and technicians. Provide training and guidance to ensure adherence to quality standards.
6. Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in quality processes and implement corrective actions to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness.
7. Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on industry regulations and quality standards. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and certifications.
8. Customer Feedback Analysis: Analyze customer feedback and complaints to identify trends and implement preventive measures.

• Associate’s degree in a relevant field a plus
• Proven experience in quality control or assurance management in a shipyard.
• Strong knowledge of quality control standards and methodologies.
