Job DescriptionJob DescriptionJob OverviewA Phone Screener is responsible for reviewing applications and resumes to determine which candidates will be invited to interview with the company. Phone Screener duties may also include conducting phone interviews or scheduling in-person interviews with candidates who pass initial screening.Responsibilities and Duties
  1. Conduct a high volume of outbound calls to internal and external candidates to assess minimum qualifications and basic communication skills of applicants.
  • Meet the set daily and weekly quota for number of phone interview passers to be processed for the next recruitment stage.
  • Attend team meetings and calibration sessions with the recruitment team.
  1. Input all external candidates into our applicant tracking system.
  2. Track all candidate activities and communication in our ATS.
  3. Distribute and record online testing assessments utilized to evaluate candidate skills.
  4. Use Internet job postings and advanced web sourcing tools to identify and attract candidates.
  5. Refer the best-qualified candidates for further consideration along with screening results.
  6. Schedule interviews and keep candidates informed of feedback and potential next steps in the recruitment process.
  7. Any other assigned task by Supervisor.
Qualifications & Education
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Must be comfortable talking with people 8 hours a day through the phone
  • Good communication skills
  • Able to multi-task and process large volumes of transactions (phone interviews and reports)
  • Planning and organizing skills
  • Good probing skills and superior listening skills
  • High-energy, Enthusiastic and Positive
  • Maintains the highest standards of personal integrity and ethical behavior
  • Attentive to details
  • Hardworking and a good team player
  • Highly analytical
Skills:
  • Solid communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Types 35 WPM
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Decision-making skills for problem identification and solution recommendation and implementation.
  • Efficient probing and listening skills
  • Proficient with various software applications programs including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Canva and Outlook.
