We are seeking an excellent PEDIATRIC DENTIST to become a part of our team You will provide direct oversight and dental services in the new Pediatric Health Center in 2024.


 Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and provide appropriate dental treatment to patients, including comprehensive dental exams, regular cleanings, root canals, and extractions
  • Assist parents’ with determining the most appropriate treatment(s) for their child's dental needs.
  • Educate parents and children on maintaining proper oral health
  • Carefully document all medications, diagnoses, treatments and consultations within the EHR
  • Conduct initial oral assessments
  • Prescribe medications as necessary
  • Knowledgeable of HIPAA and OSHA regulations
  • Demonstrate flexibility, enthusiasm, and willingness to cooperate while working with others


 Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS or DMD) and licensed within the State of Texas.
  • Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry
  • Dentistry Experience - Minimum 1 year paid work experience, but new grads are encouraged to apply
  • Nitrous Oxide Monitoring Certification
  • Other certifications as required by state to include: DEA, CPR, PALS.
  • No sanctions for Medicare, Medicaid, or any licensing board
  • No recent negative findings on NPDB
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish), a plus

 

Working Conditions

  • The position occasionally requires sitting, standing and bending. Occasional very light lifting, up to 20 pounds or an equivalent weight may be required
  • Willing to travel/round to the Bellaire and Dickinson location.
  • Willing to accept COVID-19 Vaccination Mandate as a condition for employment.
