Summary of Position: The Hotel Storekeeper is responsible for housekeeping inventory location, including receiving, storing, inventorying, and issuing of Hotel related items. Also, the Storekeeper strips rooms of linens and garbage and removes them quickly from shared areas.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Deliver joy to our customers every day.

  1. Immediately strip checkouts as they occur. This function is not to be interrupted by cleaning rooms.

  1. Remove and consolidate dirty linens, towels and garbage and take to assigned repositories. (Dirty Linens to ALSCO bins and garbage to dumpster).

  1. As this position is the first to encounter a dirty “check out,” immediately report any damage, presence of pets or unusual wear and tear.

  1. All tips from guests are to remain untouched by the Storekeeper.

  1. Storekeepers are scheduled daily from 7am-3:30pm, and from 12:30-9pm, year-round.

  1. The position will carry a radio, passkey, pen, and notepad.

  1. Complete re-stocking of housekeeping carts using approved checklists with the appropriate level of linens and bath towels, so they are ready upon housekeeping staff's arrival.

  1. Complete re-stocking and organization of all Linen closets. Perform the efficient distribution of clean linens to the appropriate linen storage closets each day, such that they are fully stocked.

  1. Maintain organization of ALSCO cart closet (aka 137) and ensure proper rotation of clean and dirty linen carts according to approved staging plan.

  1. Coordinate ALSCO arrival of clean linens, and departure of dirty linens.

  1. Maintain all linen and supply storage closets such that they are clean, efficient, and organized. Maintain labeling of all linen and towel storage shelves.

  1. Receive and inventory all deliveries of supplies upon arrival and re-stock in approved locations.

  1. Notify the Head Housekeeper or Supervisor of needed supplies on a timely basis.

  1. Complete laundering tasks (wash, dry, fold) as assigned.

  1. Complete the duties and responsibilities of a Housekeeper as directed.

  1. Ability to work early mornings or late evenings and weekends.

  1. Dependable, self-directed, and detail oriented.

  1. Strict compliance with Land’s End Resort's dress code and personal hygiene standards.

  1. Able to communicate in a clear and supportive manner with all levels of staff.
