Responsibilities:

  • Apply fertilizer, pesticides, and herbicides to client landscapes using standard industry application equipment.
  • Calculate proper application rate and mix chemicals accordingly.
  • Prepare and submit daily reports of chemical applications.
  • Administer correct handling, transporting, storage and disposal procedures for chemicals.
  • Follow safety practices according to OSHA, MIOSHA and Dept of Agriculture.
  • Monitor landscape & lawn heath care needs.
  • Interact respectfully with clients on-site as needed. Ability to resolve issues to coach.
  • Follow all safety, PPE, and housekeeping protocols.
  • Ability to spray mosquito and perimeter pest chemicals.
  • Report to work on time each day, identify and suggest job improvements, and strive for quality.


Requirements:

  • Commercial Pesticide Applicator License (Commercial Core, 3A, 3B, and Category 6)
  • Experience operating z-sprayer, aerator, push sprayer and related equipment
  • Experience calculating proper application rates of fertilizer and other related chemicals
  • Valid driver license with clean record. Chauffeur license is preferred.
