Job Summary:
We are looking for a residential/commercial painter and drywaller to join our team You will be preparing and performing professional exterior and interior painting jobs as well as hanging and finishing drywall in a residential and light commercial setting.

You are an experienced tradesman whos looking to be part of an energetic and effective team. You believe in a job done right and take pride in delivering a quality service to customers. A positive attitude is a must

Responsibilities:

• Paint using a proper applicator (brush, roller, etc.) while utilizing proper painting techniques
• Interact professionally with customers, evaluating requests, pricing projects, troubleshooting issues, and describing work orders as needed
• Identify proper materials and quantities for new and existing projects
• Prepare surfaces for painting by washing, scraping, sanding, or by other means necessary
• Mix, match, and blend various paints, enamels, lacquers, varnishes, stains, and special protective coatings to achieve the desired color, consistency, and drying properties
• Use caulk, putty, cement, or plaster to repair holes and cracks
• Inspect paint jobs for quality
• Perform daily maintenance routines on painting equipment
• Must have all necessary hand tools (pans, knives, stilts etc.)
• Must have ability to "hand" tape, coat, texture and sand drywall, at minimum of industry standards
• Must be comfortable with heights
• Knowledge of taping tools including bazooka, roller & glazer, flat boxes

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in residential or commercial painting and/or remodeling/home repair
• Valid drivers license and reliable transportation to commute between job sites
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to lift and carry 20 lbs of equipment
