Job DescriptionJob Description

Seeking a CDL A driver to operate a roll off truck/hopper. Home daily and a chance to move up in a stable company Leader in the glass recycling industry Details listed below:

  • 1st Shift; Monday-Friday (7am - 4pm)
  • Operate trucks in compliance with local, state and company policies
  • Perform truck, trailer and container inspections.
  • Deliver loads to proper locations and plant locations.
  • Inspect inbound loads at supplier locations.
  • Load/Unload a dump trailer.
  • Inspect outbound loads.
  • Load /Unload a roll off container.
  • Drive dump truck on SMI property.
  • Ensure that trucks are kept clean and maintained at all times, perform truck maintenance, as required
  • Complete and maintain driving and haul log sheets on a trip basis, as required.
  • Wear appropriate site specific personal protective equipment (PPE), as required.
  • Understand and adhere to all company operating procedures and company safety policies.
  • Any other related duties, as assigned by their supervisor.
