We are seeking a Director of Clinical Operations who will oversee the clinical operations of the EMPOWERED Mobile Health Unit, ensuring quality of care and providing guidance to clinical staff. This professional will coordinate distributed and on-site services, manage staff and resources, and oversee community partner liaison services.
The EMPOWERED Mobile Health Unit (MHU) Initiative is a vital extension of the EMPOWERED program, aimed at addressing the unique challenges faced by underserved communities in Northern Nevada. The MHU brings essential healthcare services directly to women of reproductive age with opioid use disorders (OUD), ensuring access to specialized care and support throughout the region. The initiative focuses on rural and underserved client-services, community partnerships, capacity-building, and enhanced community engagement and awareness.

Founded in Henderson, Nevada, in 1999 with a College of Pharmacy, RUHS has experienced phenomenal growth and has expanded to include a College of Nursing (2006), a College of Dental Medicine (2007), and a College of Medicine (in development). As a non-profit organization, we make a meaningful impact in our community as we work together to educate healthcare providers.
