We are partnering with a tech company (B2C Saas) that is seeking a talented Algorithm Engineer for part-time, project-based assignments. Your primary role will involve designing, implementing, and optimizing algorithms to solve complex problems, enhance performance, and drive innovation in various applications.

Description

As an Algorithm Engineer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and refine algorithms that meet the needs of our client's projects. You will analyze data, identify patterns, and leverage mathematical models to create efficient and scalable solutions. Your expertise will be crucial in improving existing algorithms and contributing to the development of new ones.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and optimize algorithms to address complex problems

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and objectives

  • Analyze data and identify patterns to inform algorithm development

  • Develop mathematical models and leverage them to create efficient solutions

  • Improve and refine existing algorithms for enhanced performance

  • Contribute to the development of new algorithms and methodologies

  • Document algorithm designs and ensure thorough testing and validation

  • Provide technical guidance and support to other team members as needed

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Algorithm Engineer or similar role (2+ years)

  • Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or Java

  • Deep understanding of data structures, algorithms, and complexity analysis

  • Experience with machine learning techniques and frameworks

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field
