Villas at Stoney Point, a senior living community, is hiring a Part-Time Housekeeper to join our team. Our senior care campus, which opened in 2019, is nestled in the quiet countryside meadows of southwest Cedar Rapids, Iowa. In this role, you will help keep the facilities and common areas clean as well as perform light housekeeping duties for our resident's apartments.
Our ideal candidate is self-motivated, trustworthy and hardworking. This role requires compassion for our residents and they must have attention to detail and great customer service skills
This is a Part-Time, benefit eligible position working 4 hours shifts, Monday through Friday, anytime between 6:00am and 6:00pm. Flexible on time

What does a Housekeeper do?
- Display an attitude of courtesy and respect for all residents, families, and staff.
- Maintain facilities and common areas.
- Daily cleaning and sanitizing of common areas/restrooms.
- Clean and perform light housekeeping in resident apartments as requested.
- Clean, vacuum, mop, and dispose of waste in assigned areas.
- Maintain equipment, custodial closet, and cart in a clean/orderly fashion.
- Sanitation of Assisted Living Facilities.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.
What does a Housekeeper require?
- 1 year of Housekeeping experience required
- Must have full mobility.
- Is compassionate, motivated, and a self-starter.
- Good problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Experience working with seniors and vulnerable adults preferred, but not required.
- Background check required.
