Job Description:

As a Licensed HVAC Technician at Sparkling Craft Inc., you will be instrumental in ensuring the efficient operation and reliability of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems. Your role will encompass installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair tasks, ensuring that our clients enjoy optimal comfort, system performance, and energy efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. HVAC System Installation and Repair:

    • Install and upgrade HVAC systems including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ductwork following industry standards and manufacturer guidelines.
    • Diagnose and repair HVAC system issues such as mechanical failures, electrical problems, and refrigerant leaks to provide timely and effective solutions.
    • Replace or upgrade HVAC components to boost efficiency, performance, and system longevity.

  2. Routine HVAC Maintenance:

    • Execute regular maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubricating, and adjusting HVAC components to prevent system breakdowns and extend the life of the equipment.
    • Perform comprehensive system inspections to detect and address potential issues, recommending preventive actions or repairs as needed.
    • Test HVAC systems to ensure they operate at peak efficiency and comply with performance standards.

  3. Advanced Troubleshooting:

    • Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and techniques to troubleshoot complex HVAC problems, identifying root causes and implementing effective resolutions.
    • Provide expert advice on HVAC system operation, maintenance, and energy efficiency to help clients improve their system’s performance.
    • Maintain detailed service records including repairs, maintenance, and recommendations for future reference.

  4. Compliance and Safety Assurance:

    • Ensure all HVAC work adheres to safety regulations, industry codes, and best practices, prioritizing safety and compliance in all tasks.
    • Stay current with industry developments, technological advancements, and regulatory changes, integrating best practices into daily operations.
    • Maintain a clean and organized work area, following company protocols for equipment handling, storage, and disposal.

  5. Cost Estimation and Documentation:

    • Prepare detailed cost estimates for HVAC services and repairs.
    • Create and maintain accurate records of materials used, service activities, and client interactions for efficient documentation and future reference.

  6. Client Relations:

    • Ensure high levels of client satisfaction by delivering timely and effective service and maintaining a professional demeanor.
    • Communicate clearly with clients to address their HVAC needs, provide expert recommendations, and offer solutions tailored to their requirements.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as an HVAC Technician, with expertise in installation, repair, and maintenance of heating and cooling systems.
  • Extensive knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and controls, including refrigeration principles, electrical systems, and system diagnostics.
  • Must possess own tools and transportation, with a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities, with a proven track record of resolving complex HVAC issues.
  • Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach to service delivery.
