Float Team Family Medicine Provider Opportunity

Providence Community Health Centers (PCHC) has an opportunity for a Family Physician to join our team as a float provider. This is a permanent employment position with

  • Regular weekly schedule 4 or 5 day schedule
  • No panel responsibility
  • No weekends
  • Full-time (Part-time position may be considered)

Ideal candidate will have primary care experience seeing patients of all ages, and experience with multicultural underserved patient population.

Float Team providers are assigned to different PCHC clinics to fill in for providers who are out on leave/vacation.

PCHC is an innovative Federally Qualified Health Center – the largest FQHC in Rhode Island with a 55-year history of caring for the communities in Providence. We have 9 neighborhood-based clinics (NCQA Level 3 patient-centered medical homes) – all located within minutes of one another in the city of Providence – and we serve more than 85,000 patients.

Our team includes Family Physicians, Internists, Pediatricians, OBGyns, and Nurse Practitioners. PCHC also provides integrated behavioral health, nurse case management, dental, optometry, podiatry, dermatology, rheumatology, nephrology and asthma/allergy services.
