Qualifications
- Five (5) years of landscaping experience or a degree/certification in landscape/ornamental horticulture.
- Proven ability to prioritize and manage 30+ landscape maintenance contracts.
- Three (3) years of property management experience.
- Three (3) years of irrigation experience (repairs, installation, troubleshooting).
- Ability to learn, operate, and train others on new technologies and software applications.
- Operating within an Aspire Workflow Management System is a plus.
- Familiarity with PNW plant identification, disease and pest identification, and pruning/planting techniques.
- Knowledge of Bonsai, Japanese Maple, or specimen plantings is a plus.
- Ability to complete work reports and punch lists with above-average writing skills.
- Experience leading and supervising crews of 3-12 members.
- Knowledge about the proper use of landscaping equipment with 2-cycle engines.
- Current WA state pesticide license or ability to obtain within ninety (90) days.
- Clean WA state driver's license and ability to pass a background check.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; bilingual Spanish-English is a plus.
- Proficiency in computer software, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Google Docs.
- Understanding outdoor environments and safety precautions.
- Experience in detail-oriented work.
- Proven ability to work with efficiency, flexibility, and good humor.
