Field Geologist

Job DescriptionJob DescriptionGeopros, Inc. is recruiting for a Field Geologist position. This position is in the dynamic geological landscapes of North, Central, and East Texas, as well as Southern Arkansas. - Coordinate field activities with the Project Engineer and Drilling department.- Assist in efforts to plan and field locate drilling locations.- Oversee geotechnical drilling for soil and rock sampling,- Perform soil and rock logging activities both in the field and lab.- Assist in piezometer design and installation and perform groundwater readings - Assign geotechnical tests, ensuring quality and accuracy.
Qualifications, Technical Skills, and Management Knowledge:- Bachelor's degree in Geology.- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply; On the job training is available. - Willingness to travel 50%-75% of the time.Requirements for Job:- Effective coordination of multidisciplinary field activities.- Strong organizational skills for planning and executing field operations.- Willingness and eager to learn. Successful candidate will become:
- Proficient with geological mapping and sampling techniques.- Proficient with geotechnical testing and analysis.- Familiar with geospatial and data analysis software.Benefits:- Starting salary of $58K - Comprehensive benefits package including Vacation, Health Insurance, and 401K.- Car allowance or company-provided vehicle.- Per Diem paid during project travel - Flexible Schedule: Typically, Monday to Friday, depending on project specifications.
