Shift: 2nd shift


Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 3 years of maintenance experience in an industrial setting.
  • Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency in industrial mechanics, including gears, belts, bearings, couplings, and drive lines.
  • Understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic systems, including cylinders, valves, and solenoids.
  • Basic knowledge of welding and fabrication.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals.
  • Capable of working in various environmental conditions (e.g., cold, hot, humid, noisy).
  • Must meet physical requirements for the position, including motor and physical abilities necessary to perform essential duties.

  • Proficiency with keyboard and basic computer use.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure continuous and stable production by maintaining and repairing machinery and equipment through preventive maintenance.
  • Troubleshoot and repair building, equipment, and electrical systems in response to errors or failures during production.
  • Test all repairs and installations to ensure proper functionality.
  • Implement preventative maintenance measures to minimize equipment downtime.
  • Maintain an inventory of repair equipment and supplies.
  • Respond promptly to emergencies, notify appropriate personnel, and adhere to safety protocols.
  • Perform other maintenance duties as assigned.
  • Conduct mechanical troubleshooting and preventive maintenance on industrial processing, packaging, and peripheral plant equipment.
  • Perform machining, fabrication, and welding tasks, including the ability to fabricate small machine parts and guards.
  • Maintain and repair pneumatic systems (cylinders, valves, accumulators, compressors) and hydraulic systems (cylinders, valves, accumulators).
  • While performing the essential duties, the technician must be able to sit, listen, speak, type, and move throughout the facility as required.
