About the Role:
A Warehouse Worker at Brand Avenue is responsible for the efficient handling of goods and materials within the warehouse facility. This role involves tasks such as receiving shipments, organizing inventory, and preparing orders for shipment. Warehouse Workers play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the warehouse and timely fulfillment of customer orders.

Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities:

  • Receive incoming shipments and verify contents against packing slips or invoices.
  • Unload trucks and move materials to appropriate storage locations within the warehouse.
  • Organize inventory and maintain accurate records of stock levels.
  • Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently according to order specifications.
  • Prepare orders for shipment by labeling packages, arranging for carrier pickup, and loading onto trucks.
  • Perform regular inventory counts and assist with cycle counting and stocktaking activities.
  • Keep the warehouse clean and organized, including sweeping floors, removing debris, and disposing of waste materials.
  • Adhere to safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe work environment for yourself and others.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment preferred but not required.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, bend, stoop, and reach overhead.
  • Basic math and computer skills for inventory tracking and order processing.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
