Job Summary:
Client Services Managers - Medical Lien are responsible for managing the entire lifecycle of funding a personal injury case. They work closely with law firms and medical providers in their territory to intake new patients, underwrite the merits of medical funding requests, schedule medical appointments, request and review medical bills and records, and importantly, manage relationships with our esteemed clients.
Client Services Managers - Medical Lien play a pivotal role in the organization, striving at each touch point to ensure we deliver outstanding customer service to each of our constituents (law firms, medical providers, and personal injury victims).
Job Duties:
- (Primary) Manage key relationships with law firms as the key point of contact to ensure their clients (i.e., accident victims) receive excellent medical care in a timely manner at a reasonable cost, all the while ensuring the law firm is apprised of the status of their client’s medical care.
- Manage the new patient intake process, communicating directly with medical providers and law firms to obtain necessary case details to evaluate the merits of a personal injury case. Case Managers are responsible for underwriting personal injury cases within the guidelines of their experience / authorization level.
- Schedule medical appointments with medical providers in your territory
- Provide education for law firms and medical providers on the use of PROVE’s online HIPAA compliant client portal.
- Maintain HIPAA compliance with all correspondence
- Deliver optimal customer satisfaction through timely, accurate case processing.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the team lead or Operations Manager.
Skills and Qualifications:
- (Preferred) Experience as a case manager in the medical lien funding space and/or legal field
- (Preferred) Medical office experience
- (Preferred) Bachelor’s degree
- Problem solving skills with a commitment to detail and quality
- Strong customer satisfaction skills
- Interpersonal communication skills that drive success
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced, team environment with a high degree of personal accountability
- Proficient in Microsoft Windows/Office/Excel/Adobe/Scheduling software/Video Conferencing
- Ability to work at a computer while on the telephone for up to 8 hours a day
- Bilingual or multilingual, preferred
