The venue boasts over 90 acres of unique grounds and gardens. We offer three unique event spaces, all while maintaining a personal connection with each couple/client.

We are seeking enthusiastic, motivated and professional individuals to join the team at Saint Clements Castle & Marina -- one of Connecticut's premier wedding and event venues


The Set-Up Attendant needs to have high energy, understand time management, and have great attention to detail. They are responsible for the overall set-up, teardown and storage of all event space used for functions. This includes but is not limited to tables, chairs, dance floors, linens, and other Saint Clement’s Castle event equipment.


Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Communicate regularly with supervisor regarding event details.
  • Set up and break down interior and exterior tables, chairs, linens, dance floors and ceremony sites per the Function Order and floor plans provided by management.
  • Properly and carefully move all equipment, including tables, chairs, etc. and store all equipment, keeping all spaces orderly to minimize risk of damage.
  • Able to set up and remove all Audio-Visual Equipment
  • Separate house and rental linens properly and prepare house linens for pick up by launderer.
  • Report loss of table or chair that is broken and cannot be fixed, or house linens are lost or deemed unusable to manager and correct the inventory list.
  • Assist with Culinary duties including helping with plating up entrees, transporting dirty dishes to stewarding.
  • Assist in any maintenance or housekeeping duties as needed, including leaf blowing and snow plowing.
  • Maintaining knowledge and adhering to all Saint Clements Castle policies and procedures established by the company, including but not limited to those in the handbook.


Requirements:


  • Must be available to work weekends and nights.
  • Must be available to open and close the facility as needed.
  • Must have a high level of energy.
  • Must work well with others.
  • Must be able to lift, bend and move up to 50 pounds, regularly.
