Job Summary:

Carolina Cooks Restaurant Equipment, located in Asheville, NC (28806), is seeking a dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of commercial kitchen equipment to our valued customers. This position offers a competitive hourly wage of $18 to $23 (based on experience) and a benefits package that includes paid time off (PTO), medical, dental, and vision insurance (with the company covering half of the cost) after 90 days period.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport kitchen equipment to customers.
  • Load and unload items from the delivery vehicle with care.
  • Adhere to delivery schedules and follow routes provided by management.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and maintain clear communication with clients.
  • Regularly inspect and maintain the delivery vehicle to ensure it is in good condition.
  • Strictly adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

  • A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy equipment, along with performing other physical tasks.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in a similar delivery role is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
