Job Description
We are currently looking for an individual with an exceptional customer service attitude and basic technical skills to fill a full-time maintenance position on a school campus (near to intersection of Foster Ave and Murfreesboro Pike).
Compensation
$25 hourly plus Benefits
Work hours:
Monday through Friday: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform basic repairs and preventive maintenance on all equipment, and building/site components.
- Self-perform basic maintenance tasks such as wall repairs, painting, pressure washing , changing light bulbs, filter changes, removing spider webs, unclogging toilets, etc
- Establish and complete routine inspections (fire extinguishers, light test, 30 seconds emergency lights, lavatory, plumbings, etc)
- Receive and respond to requests from building occupants and enter data into the work order system
- Work with events; helping with setups and responding to customer needs
- Assist with grounds duties as needed
- Interact with coworkers, supervisors, the general public, etc.
- Complete daily digital timesheets on a web based program
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience performing basic maintenance in commercial facilities
- Basic computer skills; related to emails, and ability to learn online work order systems, and basic building management software.
- Ability to comply with the physical demands for this job.
- Must be able to work on a smoke-free campus
- Must be able to pass TBI background check conducted by the Metro Nashville Public Background Check Office to be allowed to work in the school campus.
- Must have a valid driver's license

- Work will be both indoor and outdoor and require long periods of movement and activity.
