Healthcare Insurance Specialist - Hospital Based
Due to increased growth, we have extensive openings in all locations.
Summary:
Maintains patient records by updating account information.
Essential Job Duties:
- Manages patient healthcare service problems by determining the cause of the problem; clarifying the customer's concerns; selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem; expediting correction or adjustment; following up to ensure resolution.
- Validating accounts to insure they are assigned to the appropriate agencies, i.e. early out, insurance, bad debt, etc.
- Responsible for managing and maintaining all correspondence including, faxes, bankruptcies, mailed information, mail return, etc.
- Address and manage all direct patient contact.
- Manage all Payroll Deduction requests by notating accounts accordingly.
- Respond and manage all voicemails promptly.
- Work with management when issues are recognized to help improve efficiencies and streamline processes.
- Work as Liaison with On-Site Management.
- Contributes to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Administrative duties assigned by the client.

Compliance: Monitors and ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements, organizational standards, and policies and procedures related to area of responsibility. Identifies potential risk areas within area of responsibility and supports problem resolution process. Maintains records of compliance activities and reports compliance activities to the Compliance Office.
