Job DescriptionJob Description

Connect Service Solutions is seeking a skilled Tableau Developer to join our Development Team. This role is pivotal in enhancing our analytics capabilities using Tableau to support business decision-making across multiple platforms, including Salesforce, Microsoft 365, and various accounting systems like QuickBooks and Sage Intacct.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, design, and maintain advanced Tableau dashboards and reports to meet business requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders across various departments to gather and translate business needs into technical specifications. Interaction with Salesforce, Microsoft 365, QuickBooks Online, and Sage Intacct will be frequent.
  • Manage and administer Tableau Server, ensuring optimal performance, data integrity, and security.
  • Extract and preprocess data from various sources including Salesforce and financial systems to prepare for visualization.
  • Continuously optimize and refine visualizations for clarity and performance.
  • Educate and train end-users on Tableau to enhance their understanding and ability to derive insights from the data.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Three to five years of experience.
  • Professional experience in Tableau visualization development is preferred, but experience in related data analysis and reporting roles may also be considered.
  • Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with standard database technologies.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with additional BI tools or data integration technologies is a plus, though not required.
