Media Specialist

Huntington University has an opening for a MEDIA SPECIALIST.

This position serves the University through the creation and design of institutional media, marketing materials, publications, collateral, etc. for Huntington University’s use in marketing and internal and external communication.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must have a strong personal Christian commitment and faith in Jesus Christ and a desire to serve others
• Must be committed to the mission of Huntington University as a comprehensive Christian College dedicated to educating men and women to impact our world for Christ
• Demonstrated understanding of Christian higher education, preferred
• Positive interpersonal skills and a team player
• Excellent communications skills
• Commitment to continuous process improvement
• Expertise in graphic design technique; related degree preferred
• Mastery of graphic design software and hardware (specifically Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop)
• Proficiency with common office software and hardware (specifically Microsoft Word, Excel, and Teams)
• Ability to acquire additional software skills and professional proficiencies as needed
• Demonstrated understanding of marketing principles and practices
• A high level of organizational ability
• Strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Photography, videography and editing skills

Work Schedule: This is a full-time, 12-month, exempt position.
