We are seeking a IT Training Analyst I to join our Project Controls Team in Baton Rouge, LA. The primary objective of the IT Training/Applications Analyst I is to educate employees of Turner Industries in utilizing the corporate standard applications such as MS Office, Enterprise One, and Turner's proprietary applications. This involves assistance in the development and maintenance of online training and Instructor and Webinar Led training on core items such as Safety, QA/QC, and Turner's proprietary applications. Exempt role; Reports to the IT Training Manager; Performs a variety of routine duties within established policies.


Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in IT or related field
  • Other degrees and experience will be considered based on related job experience
  • Enterprise One experience would be a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written skills and being able to adapt with the constant changes of technology
  • Ability to deal with face to face interactions with a wide variety of personalities
  • A self-starter with a positive attitude, open mind and willingness to learn are essential
  • Some knowledge (0-3 years) of training or IT Instructional Development is essential
  • Scrum is not a required prerequisite, but you will be required to learn Scrum and participate in a team
  • A positive attitude, open mind, and willingness to learn are essential
  • Post offer drug / alcohol screen, physical evaluation, and signed acceptance of the Turner Industries Drug, Alcohol and Contraband Policy

Functional Requirements:

Provide Instructor-Led training; assist in creating and maintaining Instructor-Led training, user manuals, etc.; development and maintenance of Best Practices; assist with working closely with SME, POs and Devs on implementations; development and maintenance of online training and tests; provide software technical support; evaluating and testing computer software programs; travel to our regional offices and job sites for training or support; perform additional assignments per supervisor's direction; development and maintenance of user manuals, best practices and other classroom materials including electronic forms; providing instructor-led training throughout the organization on all levels of applications such as Google Workspace as well as Turner's proprietary applications; development and maintenance of online training and tests using tools such as Articulate, Vyond, and Captivate; work closely with subject matter experts, Product Owners and developers to implement new features or applications into the organization and to assure that applications fit the actual user and company needs; provide software technical support to all of our business users on Excel and other Google Workspace products as well as Turner's proprietary applications in a timely and professional manner; could be involved in evaluating and testing computer software programs for validity of results, accuracy, reliability, and conformance to established standards and to assure that the programs are easy to use; clearly document defects and enhancement requests


Compensation

Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.
