Job DescriptionJob Description

**Primary Duties**

  • Learn relevant local and company requirements, rules and procedures. Strictly follows rules and guidelines and always uses the right procedure for the job. Promptly reports incidents, near-misses, and unsafe conditions or processes. SKNA employees regardless of level, position or tenure are responsible for upholding the safety standards regulations and policies.

  • Collect and analyze environmental data

  • Carry out site assessments to determine environmental impact of activities

  • Study human influences on the environment

  • Improve conservation management, including recycling, water and air

  • Organize the effort to address and correct compliance issues

  • Provide technical support when needed

  • Manage sustainability process and reporting

  • Additional duties assigned by management

**Job Qualifications**

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or similar field of study

  • 3-5 + years of progressive experience as an environmental engineer, including experience in recordkeeping and reporting requirements

  • Excellent planning and organizational skills, with ability to analyze and improve business structures and processes, as well as the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of individuals

  • Demonstrated capabilities to manage significant capital projects aimed at improving environmental performance

  • Desired experience with Title V permits, NSR permits, PBRs and standard air permits, SPCC plans, and SWPPP permits

  • Some experience with Sustainability reporting and ISO 14001 system management also desired

You should be proficient in:

  • GD&T
  • G-Code
  • M-Code
  • Manual Machining Skills

Salary info:

$40 - $41 / hr
