Responsibilities

• Assist experienced tapers and drywall finishers with all aspects of drywall finishing.
• Apply, smooth, and sand joint compound to drywall seams and imperfections.
• Apply a variety of texture finishes to walls and ceilings according to project specifications.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols.
• Learn proper mixing techniques for joint compound materials.
• Assist with preparing finished surfaces for painting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior experience in construction or a related field.
• A strong work ethic and willingness to learn are essential.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Good physical condition for lifting materials and performing repetitive tasks.
• Manual dexterity and good hand-eye coordination.
