Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate excellent attention to detail throughout the survey process.
  • Use your knowledge of ALTA/ACSM land title surveys, topographic mapping, courthouse research, boundary surveys, construction layout, and GPS surveys to contribute to the project’s success.
  • Prepare and maintain maps, reports, and legal descriptions of surveys in order to describe, certify, and assume liability for work performed.
  • Direct and verify the accuracy of survey data, including measurements and calculations conducted at survey sites.
  • Manage survey projects from proposal through approval process.
  • Monitor quality and compliance with professional standards and risk management.
  • Conduct survey and deed research to complete boundary resolution for property boundaries and rights-of-way.


Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

  • Ohio Professional Surveyor
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Survey/Engineering or similar
  • 3+ years of experience in surveying
  • Experience performing property, boundary, topographic, utility, construction stakeout, and record surveys is required.
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D
  • Strong background in boundary/property law and boundary analysis
  • Strong sense of urgency and self-initiative to meet client deadlines.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects/responsibilities simultaneously.
  • Working knowledge of a robot total station and GPS receiver preferred, but not required.
  • Maintain excellent client relations
