Mobile Fleet Tire Technician

Job DescriptionJob DescriptionBIG O TIRES is looking for an experienced Mobile Tire / Service Technicians to work on our mobile fleet program throughout the Sacramento / Folsom market. This position requires a significant amount of customer interaction, so the ideal candidate will not only possess the technical acumen, but also the ability to provide a strong level of customer service.

This position will service the Folsom and East Sacramento area; however, the role will require daily travel within the region directed by Mobile Tire Dispatch team. Responsibilities:

• Perform apprentice level work in the inspection, repair, and service of cars and light trucks.
• Operate a variety of hand, power, and shop tools including tire changers and balancing equipment
• Perform equipment inspections, adjustments and certifications
• Maintain records of time, expenses and materials
• Perform other related duties as assigned
• Help maintain cleanliness of vehicles
• Effectively handle multiple priorities, organize workload, and meet deadlines
• Communicate professionally with customers and other stakeholders
• Support other Mobile Service technicians and BIG O TIRE Service Centers as needed
• Daily regional travel

Job Requirement:

• Knowledge of methods and techniques in the maintenance and repair of vehicle
• Clean MVR (Motor Vehicle report) and meet insurance compliance
• Available to work multiple shifts: (4am -noon) (6pm -2am)
• Proven experience in tire mounting, balancing tires and tire repair
• Perform basic Brake replacement procedures as needed
• Trade school training/ ASEs a plus
• Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as the ability to follow instructions
• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems, processes, and a dynamic work environment
• Must be comfortable with daily regional travel and operating a large service vehicle
• Must be 21 or older

Hourly compensation based on experience and industry background ($22 to $30 per hour)
