Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Journeyperson Plumber to join our team. As a Journeyperson Plumber, you will install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial buildings. This is a full-time position that offers competitive pay and benefits. Must possess a journeyman license.

Responsibilities:

- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems following local plumbing codes

- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of plumbing systems

- Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure proper installation of plumbing systems during new construction or remodeling projects

- Assemble and install pipes, fittings, valves, and fixtures such as sinks, toilets, bathtubs, water heaters, etc.

- Test plumbing systems for leaks and ensure proper functioning

- Perform routine maintenance on plumbing systems to prevent future issues

- Respond to service calls and troubleshoot plumbing problems

- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and answering questions

Experience:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Journeyperson Plumber

- Strong knowledge of plumbing codes and regulations

- Proficient in basic math calculations for measuring and cutting pipes

- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics

- Skilled in using various tools and equipment such as pipe cutters, wrenches, soldering torches, etc.

- Experience with heavy lifting required for handling pipes and equipment

- Knowledge of pipe threading techniques

- Familiarity with mechanical systems in residential and commercial buildings

- Previous experience in remodeling projects is a plus
