Key Responsibilities- Technical Supervision: Perform technical and supervisory work in operating and maintaining residential plumbing systems and related equipment.
- Team Management: Manage and guide plumbing staff, including plumbers, installers, and drain technicians. Coordinate daily with the Call Center, Lead Coordination, and Dispatch departments to ensure proper scheduling.
- Skill Evaluation: Continuously assess plumbing staff's skill sets and training needs, ensuring ongoing technical training and product knowledge development.
- Leadership Development: Invest time in personal development to enhance department leadership.
- Motivation and Direction: Lead, direct, and motivate plumbing staff to reach their highest potential and maintain a positive attitude within the department.
- Quality Control: Decrease callbacks and warranty costs through improved training and ensure all staff maintain an "On Time" attitude.
- Sales Targets: Increase club membership to an average of 50% and ensure all plumbing technicians sell IAQ products weekly.
- Meeting Facilitation: Conduct efficient and productive plumbing meetings.
- Communication: Communicate daily with the dispatch manager regarding reports, punctuality, and the skills and abilities of plumbing technicians. Communicate with the Sales/Technical Trainer about technical objectives and training programs.
- Field Supervision: Conduct regular ride-alongs with plumbing staff to ensure quality and adherence to company standards.
- Performance Standards: Promote Adeedo' high-performance standards and ensure all plumbing staff adheres to uniform dress code and appearance standards.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Ensure service vehicles are maintained as company mobile billboards.
- Bilingual preferred; at a minimum, the ability to understand and to make oneself understood in Spanish.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
- Experience managing up to 50 employees, preferably field employees.
- Knowledge of management practices and principles.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
- Ability to prepare routine administrative paperwork.
- Strong problem-solving skills and analytical abilities.
- Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
