Assistant Cabinet Installer

Texas Wood Supply is a Manufacturing Hardwood Moulding Company that operates 7 retail stores and 3 production sites throughout Texas. We are looking for an Assistant Cabinet Installer with great hand dexterity and an eye for detail. The ideal candidate will also have good knowledge of cabinetry installation, cabinetry construction and other carpentry materials and working with little supervision while following all health and safety standards is essential.


  • Install a variety of cabinetry including kitchen cabinets, bathroom vanities, closets, and custom storage solutions in residential and commercial settings.
  • Review installation plans and blueprints to ensure accurate placement and alignment of cabinets.
  • Conduct field measurements to ensure that job site dimensions and conditions align with blueprints and installation plans
  • Measure and cut materials to fit specific dimensions, ensuring a precise and seamless installation
  • Collaborate with project managers, contractors, supervisor and other team members to coordinate installation schedules and ensure timely project completion.
  • Conduct quality inspections to ensure that installations meet company standards and customer expectations.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing any concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
  • Responsible for assigned vehicle, tools, and equipment
  • Be able to pass all auditable inspections
  • Completion of required scheduled tasks daily as assigned by supervisor
  • Add and Install hardware such as cabinet pulls, closet rods, brackets and kitchen organizers.
  • Occasionally will work in the cabinet shop manufacturing cabinets.


Requirements:

Requirements and Skills:

  • Utilize a variety of tools and equipment, including power tools, drills, and saws.
  • Must be able to use basic math skills
  • Must have basic computer skills.
  • Have an understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of cabinet installation and construction
  • Ability to lift and maneuver heavy objects and work in various environments, including tight spaces and heights.
  • Driver’s License
  • Be honest, reliability and transparency
