Join Ad Astra Behavior Analytic Services as a Behavior Technician and Make a Difference
Ad Astra Behavior Analytic Services is seeking dedicated and motivated individuals who are passionate about helping others. We are looking for a Behavior Technician to join our team and provide meaningful support through 1:1 direct in-home ABA therapy for children on the Autism Spectrum and other related disorders.
What We Offer:
This is a part-time position with a fixed schedule, offering flexibility in the late afternoon to early evening hours. Compensation ranges from $20 to $26 per hour, and we provide additional benefits, including compensation for same-day client cancellations, travel time, and mileage reimbursement. Ad Astra also offers Behavior Technicians the opportunity to participate in the RBT Certification Program, leading to registration as a behavior technician with the Behavior Analysis Certification Board (BACB). For those already certified as a Registered Behavior Technician, we provide RBT supervision with our experienced BCBAs.
How to Know if This Role is Right for You:
- You have experience working directly with children, particularly in educational, therapeutic, or healthcare settings.
- You have completed coursework in psychology, education, behavior analysis, or a related field.
- You have a background in healthcare or a similar environment where you've supported individuals with developmental or behavioral challenges.
- You are compassionate, patient, and committed to helping children achieve their goals and thrive.
- You are comfortable working in a home setting and can build rapport with clients and families.
- You have a flexible schedule and are available to work part-time between 3 PM and 8 PM, Monday through Friday (Saturday is available but optional).
As a Behavior Technician on our team, your responsibilities will be:
- Implement evidence-based behavioral interventions to foster positive behaviors and skill development in individuals with unique abilities.
- Work closely with families, providing guidance, support, and training to empower them to continue the magic at home.
- Engage in collaboration with a team of professionals, using a synergistic approach to individualized care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records to track progress, making data-driven decisions that lead to the most magical outcomes.
