OR transport

Job Summary
Mission Community Hospital is seeking an experienced OR Transporter to provide support to the Operating Room team. The OR Transporter will be responsible for ensuring that all necessary surgical resources are ready for procedures and ensuring the cleanliness of OR suites before and after all activities. The OR Transporter will report to the Director of the Operating Room.

Responsibilities
• Transport all necessary supplies to/from patient/operative rooms
• Assist nurses and other staff with OR-related duties
• Transport specimens to the loading dock for lab processing
• Utilize materials and equipment to ensure proper sterilization of the OR
• Clean and stock ORs between procedures, replacing all supplies and equipment used during the procedure.
• Maintain an organized, clean and safe OR environment
• Comply with hospital safety policies and procedures
• Complete additional duties as assigned

Requirements
• High school diploma or GED
• At least one year of transport or related experience, preferably in a hospital setting
• Effective organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work a flexible schedule
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
