Role Impact:

As a Mechanical Engineer at our company, you will directly contribute to the success of our product lines by leveraging your engineering expertise to enhance product quality, streamline manufacturing processes, and support cross-functional teams. Your work will have a tangible impact on our business goals, driving innovation and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engineering Support: Collaborate with Manufacturing, Purchasing, Sales, Marketing, and Senior Management to provide engineering support and improve tooling processes and cost reduction strategies.
  • Quality Assurance: Design, develop, and evaluate test equipment, procedures, and specifications to uphold product quality standards.
  • Documentation: Create and manage comprehensive documentation for products and procedures.
  • Problem-Solving: Lead problem-solving activities related to product requirements, materials usage, process capabilities, and documentation interpretation.
  • Continuous Improvement: Participate in and lead continuous quality improvement initiatives, providing technical guidance and support to teams.
  • Project Coordination: Coordinate design projects with other departments, junior technical staff, and suppliers to ensure project goals are met.
  • Research and Development: Engage in R&D activities to introduce new products or enhance


Requirements
  • CAD Proficiency: Modeling and 2D drawing (ProE/CreO experience preferred).
  • Software Knowledge: Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Access).
  • Engineering Practices: Familiarity with Finite Element Analysis, Manufacturing Resource Planning, and Engineering Network File Structure.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with designing validation tests and compiling reports.
  • Product Knowledge: Understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems, especially in the context of mechanic service and lubrication trucks.
  • Education: Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience: 1-4 years in industrial design or engineering.
  • Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, practical application of mechanical design practices, and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
