Delphi Construction is seeking skilled and motivated superintendents with experience in ground-up or rehab projects exceeding $1 million in total value.

 

The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the construction process, from planning and budgeting, to project staff management, and execution and delivery. The superintendent will work closely with project managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The successful candidate must have a keen eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple smaller projects simultaneously or lead a larger project ($10M+). Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage construction projects from start to finish
- Coordinate and schedule subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors
- Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and safety standards
- Review and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans
- Conduct quality control inspections to ensure work meets project specifications
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary
- Collaborate with project team members to resolve any issues or delays
- Communicate effectively with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders

 

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Superintendent or similar role in the construction industry
  • Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, construction estimating, and quality control procedures
  • Familiarity with building codes, regulations, and safety standards
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse teams
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in project documentation
  • Degree in construction or related field (preferred)
