Summary:

The First Impressions Manager establishes a warm and welcome atmosphere for our Members and their guests. The primary goal of this position is to provide an outstanding customer experience and support to all Members and guests with a presentable, friendly and outstanding people skill set. First impression services includes overnight suite accommodations, management of front desk receptionists and valet services, and works in partnership with the Assistant General Manager and other Department Leaders to ensure our members are well cared for and informed.

Essential Job Duties:

  • Achieving budgeted room sales, labor costs and completion of forecast and actual budget and weekly payroll input
  • Achieving maximum satisfaction and overall success through the control of quality of service
  • Participation and input towards Rooms Marketing and Communication activities
  • Completing of shift reports and measurement of CCD Service Guarantees for each function
  • Scheduling of staff (front desk receptionist and valet attendants) to ensure adequate and consistent levels of service
  • Supervising and coordinating daily operation of the front desk duties
  • Attendance and participation in monthly Department Head meetings
  • Implementation and enforcement of all Club rules for members, guests and staff
  • Creating reservations for all areas including events, dining, bridge events, racquet sports and overnight suites
  • Liaise on for Assistant General Manager, Chief Engineer and Housekeeping leaders to ensure all client needs and requirements are being met
  • Handling of customer concerns, ensuring proper reporting and follow up are completed on concerns brought forward
  • Participating in overall Club maintenance and cleanliness
  • Facilitating switchboard and incoming calls
  • Inspection of Overnight Suites, and other first impression areas for cleanliness
  • Maintenance of CCD calendar
  • Other tasks and assignments may be assigned outside of this job description


Minimum Skills & Qualifications:

  • Effective communication skills
  • Staff training and developmental skill
  • Personnel development and growth
  • Maintain professional standards through proper coaching and counseling
  • 3 year’s experience in Clubhouse operations or similar job role experience required
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
