Job Overview:
As a Junior Media Planner, you will play a crucial role in supporting the development and execution of media strategies for our clients. You will collaborate closely with senior staff to manage schedules, execute campaign buys, conduct research, and develop key documentation. This role offers a unique opportunity to build client relationships and enhance your skills in media planning and brand stewardship.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field.
- 2 - 3 years in digital marketing, experience with digital media platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook Ads) and willingness to learn and execute campaign buys.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct research and analyze data.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Google Sheet, Google Slides , ) and familiarity with media planning software is a plus.
- Proficiency in data analysis with strong skills in Excel, Power BI, Google Data Studio/Tableau, or other data visualization platforms, familiarity with Python is a plus
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate day-to-day as well as long-term schedules of key agency management.
- Execute self-service platform campaign buys with training (eg. Google, Facebook, etc.).
- Conduct competitive, industry, or client research for presentations, pitches, or industry analysis.
- Develop briefs, call reports, and key agency documentation under guidance of senior staff.
- Assist various senior staff in execution of internal agency projects.
- Develop client-facing relationship and servicing skills to provide efficient deployment to our partners and clients.
- Support the execution of strategy, provide brand stewardship and maintain strong client satisfaction on assigned brand(s).
- Utilize statistical techniques to analyze data, uncover insights, and identify trends.
- Present findings through charts, graphs, infographics, or animations to effectively communicate key information.
- Work with senior staff to generate detailed reports that support informed decision-making and strategic planning.
- Responsible for weekly timesheet submissions
