TYPICAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Maintains, waters, weeds, fertilizes, and harvest crops in the garden
  • Repairs irrigation, poly hoses, sprinklers, and nozzles
  • Plants, cultivates, and maintains crops;
  • Operates weed whackers, tractors, pruning shears, utility vehicles, mowers, and other equipment;
  • Operates large equipment and other tools to perform crop maintenance;
  • Cleans garden grounds of trash and debris;
  • Helps clean and maintain workspace/ shop;
  • Monitors proper schedules of irrigation systems;
  • Participates in weekend water schedule rotation;
  • Help monitor and maintain pest control;
  • Makes small repairs to and maintains equipment;
  • May assist with other grounds maintenance and other duties within the farm;
  • Performs other related duties and responsibilities as assigned and;
  • Consistently work independently or as part of a team when necessary.
