As a Golf Shop Assistant at Red Rocks Country Club, you will be responsible for maintaining a professional image while supporting daily golf shop operations. This role requires selling golf merchandise and related items, as well as ensuring the golf shop is always clean, organized, and well-stocked. You'll provide exceptional customer service, assist with merchandise management, and enforce club policies to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all members. Additionally, you'll play a key role in supporting golf course operations including pace play on the course, coordinating member check-ins, and promoting club activities and services.


Job Responsibilities

  • Correctly sell items using our POS System (Club Essentials)
  • Ensure the golf shop remains clean, organized, and well-stocked at all times.
  • Apply working knowledge of golf shop operations while positively enforcing Red Rocks Country Club policies.
  • Stay current on all golf shop merchandise to provide informed recommendations.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, offering advice and assistance to all patrons.
  • Assist with the management and control play by ensuring member check-in, coordinating cart fee collection with the starter, and monitoring pace of play on the course.
  • Support the professional staff in maintaining an acceptable pace of play on the golf course.
  • Assist in the receipt, display, inventory control, promotion, and sale of merchandise under the direction of the Golf Shop Manager and Director of Golf.
  • Be knowledgeable about and actively promote all club activities and services.
Requirements:

Professionalism: Consistently maintain a professional demeanor and appearance.

Organizational Skills: Ability to keep the golf shop clean, organized, and well-stocked.

Customer Service: Strong commitment to providing excellent customer service, advice, and assistance to all patrons.

Operational Understanding: Familiarity with the game of golf preferred
