Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic Flagging Supervisor/Coordinator to join our team. The Flagging Supervisor/Coordinator will play a vital role in managing the scheduling and coordination of our traffic control flaggers, ensuring that projects are adequately staffed and deadlines are met. The ideal candidate will be outgoing, organized, and possess excellent communication skills, with a strong background in project management and logistics.


Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the scheduling of traffic control flaggers for various projects, ensuring optimal coverage and efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate records of flagger availability, preferences, and certifications.
  • Communicate regularly with project managers, clients, and flaggers to assess scheduling needs and address any concerns or issues.
  • Proactively identify scheduling conflicts and propose solutions to ensure smooth project operations.
  • Provide guidance and support to flaggers regarding scheduling, assignments, and job expectations.
  • Collaborate with the HR department to recruit, onboard, and train new flaggers as needed.
  • Monitor project timelines and adjust schedules as necessary to accommodate changes or delays.
  • Maintain a positive and motivating work environment, fostering teamwork and camaraderie among the scheduling team and flaggers.
  • Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices related to traffic control and scheduling.


Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in business administration or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience in scheduling, logistics, or project coordination, with a background in project management considered a strong asset.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse personalities.
  • Proficiency in using scheduling software and other office productivity tools.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • A positive attitude, enthusiasm, and a genuine commitment to customer service and safety.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
