Pediatric Holistic Wellness is seeking a very part time client care specialist for respite in Pueblo Respite care provides short-term relief for primary caregivers.


Client & family info:

  • a 22 year old male with epilepsy (mental age of a 13 year old)
  • kind and amicable.
  • He loves bowling and Harry Potter
  • The parents work full-time. The mother is a teacher working on her doctorate.
  • Client cannot be left alone, so since their previous care has fallen ill, the parents haven’t had a moment alone since August
  • He has not had an injury in over two years and shows many visible signs pre-seizure. Often, he does not even fall. 
  • As a care provider, you may just need to help him sit down if you notice signs. 
  • The respite would be out of home (you need to have a reliable vehicle and driver's license)
  • The respite may also occur in the family home as it is available. 


Job Info:

  • It would be a max of 13 hours a month (3-4 hours a week)
  • on Friday evenings (6-10 pm) or Saturday afternoons (12-4 pm) depending on the week
  • The pay is $16/hour and there’s opportunity to increase to $17/hour quickly.
  • This role starts asap, ideally by Friday, November 18th. 
  • This is a great opportunity to gain experience in respite
  • Preferred candidates have experience in respite, however we are open to helping start your career in improving the lives of families in Southern Colorado.
