Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Float Pool Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical-Surgical (Med-Surg) care to join our team. As a Float Pool RN, you will have the opportunity to work across various Med-Surg units, providing high-quality care to diverse patient populations. This full-time position requires flexibility and adaptability, as you will be rotating between day and night shifts, including weekends.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a patient and family advocate, ensuring privacy and confidentiality.
- Facilitate patient care by making accurate nursing assessments and diagnoses.
- Develop and implement patient care plans with a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Adapt to the needs of various Med-Surg units, providing consistent and compassionate care to all patients.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of recent (within the last year or two) acute Med-Surg experience required.
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Florida, or the ability to obtain licensure prior to start.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred; required within 6 months of hire.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
