Compensation:

  • $25-35/hour depending on directly relevant work history
  • Benefits available after successful introductory period


Position Description:

We are currently looking for an Industrial Maintenance Technician for our Beaverton, Oregon facility. The technician will perform maintenance functions for all manufacturing operations as part of a team but also be able to work independently. As an industrial maintenance technician, you are responsible for the repair, maintenance, and installation of all machinery, equipment, and building systems. This includes preventative maintenance on all mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems of the production machinery, as well as building and grounds.


Role Responsibilities:


  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment and systems as needed to minimize downtime and ensure continuous operational availability
  • Conduct preventive maintenance activities, including cleaning, lubricating, and adjusting equipment and systems to prevent breakdowns
  • Assist with installing new equipment and systems, including wiring, piping, and other components, as needed
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, maintenance logs, and inventory of parts and supplies
  • Collaborate with other members of the maintenance team, as well as production supervisors and operators, to ensure timely and effective maintenance and repair of equipment and systems
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies related to maintenance and repair activities
  • Provide training and guidance to other employees on proper maintenance and repair procedures
  • Understand that responding to emergency maintenance requests and working flexible hours as needed to ensure timely repair and maintenance of equipment and systems may be requested
  • Maintains equipment parts and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies; notifying engineering or management of needs
  • Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations


Basic Qualifications and Experience:


  • Relevant experience in manufacturing maintenance
  • Proven mechanical aptitude and strong troubleshooting ability The ability to look at an entire process and determine the source of the problem/issue
  • Ability to read mechanical drawings, electrical schematics and understand pneumatic diagrams
  • Good Leadership and team participation
  • Analytical skills for problem-solving as well as a quick and efficient ability to make decisions
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to follow safety procedures
  • Position requires lifting and/or carrying minimum 40 Lbs, standing for much of the shift, using a wide range of motion to include working in awkward physical positions
