Under general managerial guidance, provisions accounts, resets passwords, and performs user access reviews of various systems throughout the Bank.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Fundamental Duties Spent Performing Function

  1. Provides direct support for the daily functions of Systems Access Support. User access provisioning and de-provisioning for a variety of systems. Ensures requests are properly approved and documented, and completed within timeframes established by policy, laws and regulations.
  2. Provides technical support to users, including password resets and account unlocks for various Bank systems.
  3. Maintains a working knowledge of laws, rules and regulations pertaining to designated areas of responsibility. Participates in formulating and updating policies and procedures/job aids that incorporate regulatory requirements. Ensures internal controls that mitigate compliance risk are applied. Completes assigned compliance training courses.
  4. Reviews submitted Vendor Management assessments. Works with departments, vendors, and accounts payable to ensure due diligence is done on all vendors for the Bank. Ensures assessments are completed properly and submitted in a timely manner.

MARGINAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Participate in other special projects, represent the department in meetings and performs other job-related duties as assigned.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, PRIOR WORK EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS NEEDED TO PERFORM JOB FUNCTIONS: Incumbent must have two (2) years-experience information technology, or equivalent work experience or education. Must possess strong PC and math skills with a working knowledge of TS, Excel, and Word Processing software. Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills are required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Works for extended periods of time at using a workstation and telephone.
  • Ability to lift/carry up to 45-pound boxes of paper.
  • Ability to bend, lift, stack and move boxes.

MENTAL DEMANDS:

  • Must be detail oriented to ensure all facts have been discovered and effects of recommendations have been identified.
  • Maintains confidentiality of data with regard to customer/employee accounts at the bank.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

The work environment described here is representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of the job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

DECISION MAKING:

  • Identify when to elevate potential problems to manager to minimize the potential impact it may have on business operations.
  • Validating programs modified by a programmer and ensuring all aspects have been tested properly.
