Your Role as a Physical Therapy Billing Account Manager means playing a vital role in managing client relationships related to efficient billing operations. You'll work closely between physical therapy practices and our billing and collection operations department.

Responsibilities:



  • Manage assigned accounts, fostering strong relationships with physical therapy practice clients
  • Mange junior team members
  • Understand all aspects of revenue cycle management, including coding, charge capture, claims submission, and collections
  • Analyze key billing and collections metrics, identifying areas for improvement and presenting findings to clients
  • Proactively address client inquiries and concerns, demonstrating excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Work independently to manage daily tasks and prioritize workload effectively
  • Collaborate seamlessly with internal teams to ensure smooth billing processes
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in physical therapy billing
  • Maintain a positive and solutions-oriented attitude


Qualifications:


  • 2-3 years of experience in the therapy medical billing field
  • Strong understanding of the revenue management cycle for physical therapy providers
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated ability to solve problems critically and independently
  • Experience working in a team environment
  • Positive and solutions-oriented mindset
  • Familiarity with physical therapy EMR applications such as Prompt, Webpt, Therabill, Theraoffice, Heno, EZclaim, Kareo/Tebra, MWtherapy, etc
  • Proficient in Google Work Space, Microsoft
