CorTrust Bank is seeking a full-time Proof Operator at our Havens location

As a Proof Operator, incumbents will support CorTrust's mission and business objectives by processing item entry, re-entering rejected items, imaging proof items, and balancing proof batches. They will interface the electronic cash letter supplied by the Federal Reserve Bank and capture incoming, unqualified Fed returns through the proof transport for imaging and balance it to the totals provided by the Federal Reserve Bank. This position is part of a two-person team and will have a rotating weekly schedule of 8:00-5:00 or 8:30-5:30.

Daily duties for this position:

• Keys general ledger ticket descriptions into the core application system.
• Runs missing items through the proof transport for imaging so that balanced batches can be exported to the core application system.
• Batches and exports daily proof work to VISION software and reconciles the totals to ensure accuracy after the batch.
• Prepares and transmits daily outgoing cash letter to United Banker’s Bank.
• Process daily advice notices.
• Reconciles whole system totals to ensure bank ledgers are in balance.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
