Job DescriptionJob DescriptionDescriptionThe Assembly Lead position is a working lead position responsible for the timely and accurate production of residential, commercial, and/or industrial water treatment systems for Franklin Water Treatment customers. 

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead team members in day-to-day operations including work assignments.  
  • Support work processes that support continuous improvement, eliminate waste and ensure high levels of safety, quality and productivity within the work area.
  • Lead and train assemblers on the assembly process as well as monitor the flow of production.
  • Offer work guidance to employees and ensure they meet production schedules and regulatory requirements.
  • Follow detailed assembly instructions, processes, and procedures.
  • Uses available parts to assemble various water treatment equipment or kits according to operating instructions.
  • Safely operate a forklift.
  • Meets daily production schedule as assigned.
  • Operates various workstations to complete assembly of scheduled parts.
  • Performs other duties as required or assigned.

  • Effectively communicates instructions and expectations to team members.
  • Effectively guides and supports team members in achieving goals.
  • Consistently demonstrates dedication and dependability in all tasks.

 Education and Experience
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent (required).
  • 2-4 years or more experience working in a manufacturing type position (preferred).
  • Forklift Certification with 1-3 years or more of forklift experience (preferred).

Computer Skills
  • Basic.
