Job DescriptionJob DescriptionHealthcare Staffing Professionals, Inc. is looking for Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to work in a medical facility located in Des Moines, IA. The CRNA(s) care shall cover the range of nurse anesthetist services as would be provided in a state-of-the-art civilian medical treatment facility and the standard of care shall be of a quality, meeting or exceeding currently recognized national standards as established by the Joint Commission.
Pay Rate: $80/hr
Period of Performance:
Six months (estimated: 09-01-2024 to 02-28-2025), with an option to extend contract services by up to six months exercised at the sole discretion of the facility.
Total Hours:
  • Scheduled 2,080 Hours
  • On-call 1,521 Hours
  • Call-back 169
Services Provided:
The CRNA Services on site in accordance with the specifications contained herein to beneficiaries of the facility.
Qualifications:
The CRNA(s) shall have:
  • Master's degree or doctorate from a nurse anesthesia educational program accredited by the Council of Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs.
  • A current license to practice nursing in any State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States or the District of Columbia when services are performed onsite on VA property. All licenses held by the key personnel working on this contract shall be full and unrestricted licenses. Contractor's CRNA(s) who have current, full and unrestricted licenses in one or more states, but who have, or ever had, a license restricted, suspended, revoked, voluntarily revoked, voluntarily surrendered pending action or denied upon application will not be considered for the purposes of this contract.
  • A current CV which identifies the provider's education and professional qualifications commensurate with CRNA duties and a minimum of one (1) year direct patient care experience as a CRNA within the last three (3) years (NOTE: VA experience is desirable).
  • Current BLS/ACLS certification.
Hours of operation:
  • Normal hours are Monday - Friday, 7:00 a.m. ? 3:30 p.m.
  • Off-hours Coverage: Contractor must make the CRNA(s) available oncall during all hours when the facility clinic is closed, including evenings, weekends and holidays. NOTE: Each CRNA may expect to cover 25% of facility CRNA off-hours coverage.
  • Weekday Coverage: Monday - Friday; 3:30 p.m. through 7:00 a.m. of the following day (15.5-hour shifts)
  • Weekend Coverage: Saturday and Sunday 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. the following day (24-hour shifts).
  • Holiday Coverage: 8:00 a.m. - 8:00 a.m. of the following day (24-hour shifts).
  • On-call providers must be available within 15 minutes by phone from initial contact attempt and on-site within 60 minutes of initial contact attempt.
