This position is for candidates looking for a full-time (30+ hours/week) year-round teaching position. Candidates may also be considered for an Assistant Director position, if qualified.

My Gym Children's Fitness Center is hiring individuals who would love working with groups of children in active early learning physical education classes. My Gym's unique class programming, for ages infants through 7 years, is a perfect fit for anyone who is outgoing, physically fit, and wants to make a meaningful difference in children's lives. Our classes include a variety of age-appropriate activities. Examples include circle time, gymnastic stations, relays, preschool songs & dances, group games, puppet shows, and more

About us... There are approximately 160 My Gyms in the US and hundreds more around the world. The My Gym in Braintree recently opened in June 2024. It is locally owned and operated by Dave Ames. Dave is also the owner of the My Gym in Norwell. He's been running My Gym's for over 16 years.

Here is what we are looking for....

• Some education involving early childhood development is a big plus. A college degree is not required, but if you don't have a degree we want to see several years of teaching experience.
• You must have lots of energy and be physically fit. The ability to do basic gymnastic skills like hanging from a bar, lifting your feet to a bar, and doing a summersault is required.
• Having a background in any type of performing arts, is a big plus, but not required. My Gym teachers must keep the attention of groups, so very expressive people make great My Gym teachers.
• Ability to work 30-40 hours a week. We run AM and PM shifts and some all-day shifts. One weekend shift (approximately 6-7 hours) is required.
