Automotive Technician

Orem Mazda seeks a skilled and experienced Automotive Technician to join our dynamic team. If you have a passion for Mazda vehicles and possess at least 1-2 years of Automotive Technician experience, this is an excellent opportunity to advance your career in the automotive industry.

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic assessments and repairs on Mazda vehicles according to manufacturer guidelines.
• Conduct routine maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid replacements.
• Efficiently diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues using appropriate tools and equipment.
• Keep up-to-date with Mazda technology and advancements through ongoing training and self-study.
• Collaborate with Service Advisors to communicate repair details, estimated completion times, and additional recommendations to customers.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of repairs, parts used, and labor hours for each service performed.
• Follow safety protocols and adhere to dealership policies and procedures.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer concerns and ensuring satisfaction with completed repairs.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as an Automotive Technician.
• Proficient in diagnosing and repairing Mazda vehicles, including knowledge of Mazda-specific systems and components.
• Strong technical and mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and solve complex automotive issues.
• Experience working with diagnostic tools and equipment specific to Mazda vehicles.
• Familiarity with Mazda service manuals and repair procedures.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• ASE certification or equivalent is preferred but not required.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean working environment.
• A willingness to learn and grow
